plume recoiling mudguard

the plume is a minimal mudguard currently seeking funding on kickstarter. using spring steel just like a slap-on wristband, the plume easily switches between a rigid mudguard and coiling away beneath the saddle. it’s a nice solution to solve the need for a functioning mudguard that can also be easily folded away and hidden, but stay securely attached to your bike.

Really do not understand why you would ever need to retract a mudguard: there will nearly always be something flicking up from your tyres whatever the conditions, so to me you either have one and have it in place all the time, or don’t have one at all and be happy with having a mucky back. Keep up the good work though, I love this blog!
